After years of waiting, the Mexican fans are finally getting two shows in their homeland this September. Mexico is the only North American country where Mew have not yet played, and they have tried to make this happen for a long time, so everyone must be pleased with these confirmations. Boston show (22/08) has been announced by Mew themselves. We are still waiting for that rumoured Seattle date. It also looks like Mexico is finally getting the shows after years of waiting, but we have no confirmation on those. We can’t post anything that is not confirmed by Mew, the record company or the venues.

Mew will be performing at this year’s Virgin Festival in Canada. Held in Burl’s Creek Park in the small city of Orillia (some 90-minute drive from Toronto), Ontario. Mew will take stage on August 30th and tickets are on sale this saturday (July 18th).
