I had an issue like this. Everything turned into a twin peaks video.

Sometimes on page load it doesn’t render the video in the right place, but if you refresh it, it should pop back in. I don’t know why this happens, but it’s a known issue.

Depends on your idea of cluttered. The chat has a fixed height and scrolls within an iframe, so it will always be the same size.

I believe the user-join causing the refresh should be cancelled, and that comments cause the activity to refresh. I’ve actually thought of one. Can you make threads automatically bump to the top of the activity feed if they’ve been commented on or liked (rather than just the most recently created threads appearing at the top)?

This has been implemented. Replies to a thread will bump it to the top. Let me know if you notice anything weird. Additionally, you can now edit comments.

Couldn’t find a simple way to implement this. Since it’s so complex but desirable, it may be a feature that gets added into the core feature set someday.
