I know they don’t read Homestuck but it’s a joke w/ the kid and I that it’s the reason for the gap. Too busy reading that pesky webcomic as their last release was the year HS came out and it’s newest coincides with HS ending 😀

I HAAAAAATE the first minute of Sometimes Life Isn’t Easy but I like the song. I really like the Mexico version we got for Christmas but I need to run it through Audacity so I can add the “Safety net I regret I am shaky (we know you are) I am shaking” part to the end. I don’t know why but I just love that part.

“Wry” only made my setlist as a pity offering for my boyfriend..otherwise I’d leave it off too. Zookeeper I also won’t cry if I never hear it live again. I do listen to 8 flew over when I play the album and it is on my spotify Mew super playlist because lyrically I DO like it..I just don’t feel it musically.

I feel that way about Eight Flew Over One was Destroyed. Especially seeing it listed in so many of the ultimate setlist posts. That’s a live show throw away song as far as I’m concerned. Lyrically I like it..musically I don’t.

The hostname on my laptop is Borune…so cool it runs Mint 17 and Win 7. I’m pretty pleased with myself though, I managed to create /root /home and swap allocations with no hassles and GRUB boots everything just as it’s supposed to.

Noooooooo.. that’s the one song I don’t want shortened into a medley. It’s one of my favorites plus it has special nostalgic meaning for me. I would however LOVE a Louise Louisa/In Time Do You Forget medley.

Sadly I don’t, this is for the physical copy. I’ll look into the itunes thing though, I seem to remember inpatient people using German itunes to get Transnational (VNV Nation’s most recent album) early so there must be some way to do it.

Cartoons and Macrame Wounds. It wasn’t until I heard it live that I fell in love with it..now its the one song from NMS that I really love. I don’t think That Time on The Ledge gets as much love as it deserves either.

Nope, I can somehow bravely manage to awaken at that cruel hour in exchange for getting to enjoy the album with others whom I can squee and gush over favorite parts with. BUT! Next album..your time zones gets stuck with the early morning slot.. 🙂

@Stef I tested and it started up just fine in Chrome so one wouldnt even need to download a client. Seems like an awesome idea!! I’ve never used Slack chat..would that be for chat within this site then?

Im guessing that only us old dinosaurs would be familiar enough with IRC ? We could always have a channel for the album release party. I know there’s a client for windows users and its already loaded in Linux platforms..I just don’t know about Mac users.

For things like album release parties or any other special occasion we want to share, it would be awesome if we had something like an IRC channel or in site chat..but would it be used enough the rest of the time to make it worth the expense?

Is it ok to mention that Spotify has it too? I pre-ordered it from itunes when I still had an apple device but with itunes being incompatible with Linux Mint, I’ve been using Spotify to listen to the three released songs.

It downloaded to my itunes at 5:48pm Saturday but I use Linux so didn’t know until I checked my email. I love the album version of Witness and its making me really excited to hear what My Complications will sound like.

Has anyone watched both The Killing and Forbrydelsen? The Killing was probably one of my favorite shows and I was thinking about trying to track down a subtitled Forbrydelsen..especially since The Killing was so rudely cancelled.

I get weirdly indignant about the same thing. There’s a Nic Cage movie that was filmed in the San Bernardino National Forest (where Lake Arrowhead is) and I couldn’t watch it without shrieking about the same thing that bugs you with The Killing.

So apparently before I was exiled to the wastelands of Idaho, I was living at what would wind up being the most Frenger address EVER. My old street address was 156 Grizzly Road Lake Arrowhead CA. I didn’t even make the grizzly connection until I finally traded in my CA drivers license yesterday because it’s been 3 years since I lived there.

Being really familiar with the Pacific Northwest I did notice that but a really weird thing happened, it seemed both summers when I watched it there’d suddenly be all this rainy weather here.. Like some Linden and Holder rain dance 😉
