The first UK show for 2009 has been confirmed. Mew have been announced to Latitude Festival held in Henham Park, in the small town of Southwold (Suffolk, England). This is a relatively new festival (established just three years ago) and Mew will play on July 17th, just before the previously announced American show in Chicago. […]

Mew will play at this year’s Pukkelpop Festival in Kiewit-Hasselt, Belgium. The festival is held on August 20th-22nd and the line-up looks pretty good so far. This is one of the largest festivals in Belgium – gathering approximately 150 000 attendees per year and having over 200 acts performing. EDIT: CANCELLED!!!

Good news for all Norwegians (and/or Western Swedes). Mew will play at this year’s Øyafestival in the city of Oslo. The gig takes place on the same week as the previously announced Beatday-gig in Copenhagen. Mew will take the stage in Oslo on August 12th and it will be their ONLY summer festival in Norway
